It's forecasted that by the year 2050, Africa's population will hit 2.5 billion people from 1.46 billion in 2023.
In 2022, Nigeria's population was estimated at around 219 million individuals. Demographic projections show that the Nigerian population might experience a constant increase in the next decades. By 2050, it is forecast that the population will grow to over 377 million people compared to 2022/30 Sept 2024
