Pros and cons of FRT salad toppers:

PROS:
🥬 gets reptiles to eat the veggies they need to thrive, not just blueberries and spring mix
🥬 proven to be lower in sugar than bee pollen
🥬 access to flowers and weeds you may not be able to get fresh (dandelion, hibiscus, clover etc)
🥬 full of probiotics, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants
🥬can help handfed only babies eat on their own!
🥬 1 oz of dragon crack has ~ 90 servings!!

CONS:
Your reptiles may give you a stink eye if you don’t put it on one day…worst feeling EVER

IF YOU ARE A STERLING SUPPORTER/FAN/FAMILY/FRIEND, give this post some love! We need a little pick me up. ❤️
Choosing this field to work in whether it’s a hobby or a full time job is difficult. You are caring for sometimes HUNDREDS of animals as well as customers both online and offline.
For Lindsey and I, we also work 40 hours a week at our full time jobs with the continued dream to make Sterling Exotics, our second job, even bigger than what it is now.
But I’m not gonna lie, it’s HARD.
Did you know there are other frog breeders out there that actually tell people not to buy from us? Honestly, why do they do that? Most anyone that talks to us will find out quickly we are very generous and easy to talk to.
Did you know I have saved text messages from other breeders/businesses telling me to kick rocks and handing me information that was blatantly wrong to deter my success? The remark that sticks out to me is “I do this for a living so I’m not gonna feed you free info and give you the secrets to years of my hard work”.
Did you know customers demand deals or lower costs on animals & shipping, or even to change my own business policies when it doesn’t fit their agenda?
Did you know that we’ve had product/animals stolen from us from expo shows BOTH this year and last year by OTHER VENDORS?
What about how many times we’ve had to fight disputes because customers will charge back even though I have PROOF the animal is now in their possession.
I love what I do so much. But the constant hate, bad attitudes, “competition”, and cliques within the community that are built to gatekeep others is really killing the vibes. We love the saying “You aren’t competition. We want you to win too”.
Be kind to each other. Support the GOOD people. Call out the BAD people.
I have kept so much of what has happened to us along the way silent but I won’t be bullied in the shadows anymore.
