Ducj in Famèe! On Sunday, May 31, we celebrated our Famèe Furlane Toronto community with a wonderful (and delicious!) member's luncheon for over 280 members and family attending. It was a joyous occassion. Such an enthusiastic response to our revitalized Famèe now with over 480 active members and the inauguration of a new young people's group (19-30!) to see our way into the future. A few pictures here with more to come.

These are different types of ragu in Italy! But not typical Furlan sugo! What was your family's recipe?

Italy doesn't do just one ragù. Every region has its own version, its own meat, its own pasta shape, its own rules.
Bologna has Bolognese with tagliatelle. Naples slow-cooks beef chuck and pork ribs with ziti. Apulia uses pancetta, lamb, chicken and orecchiette. Six regions, six completely different bowls.

My Ancient Bolognese is the one I keep coming back to: https://www.vincenzosplate.com/ancient-bolognese-sauce/
