SUSHI CHEF
Saburo Kitchen is looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team!
📍 Downtown Winnipeg
📍 Hargrave Street Market
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
🍣 Prepare sushi, sashimi & other Japanese dishes
🔪 Handle and prepare fish and ingredients with care
🍱 Prepare and present dishes according to our standards
🧼 Maintain a clean, organized & sanitary work station
📋 Follow food safety and kitchen procedures
🤝 Work closely with the kitchen team during busy service
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
✔️ Minimum 2 years of sushi chef experience
✔️ Strong knife skills & sushi preparation techniques
✔️ Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and ingredients
✔️ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
✔️ Reliable, hardworking & team-oriented
✔️ Strong attention to detail and presentation
✔️ Available for evenings & weekends
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant is an asset.
