Open 9am to 9pm September 4th to 7th for your Burger Week-ing! 🍔

Inspired by a breakfast (because we’re a café) of Huevos Rancheros. Beef and chorizo patty, egg patty, ranchero style refried beans, guacamole, Gunn's Bakery brioche bun and a side of pepperjack queso for dipping! 🕺🏻

We’re starting things off small as we grow our beer, wine and cocktail program. (Cocktails coming soon, we’ve got some very fun stuff in development by our residents startender!) 🤩

Red: Radio Boka Tempranillo 🇪🇸
This Spanish red delights with ripe fruit and toasted oak aroma. That palate has plum and blackberry.

White: Charles Lang & Daughter Chenin Blanc 🇿🇦
A bright lively white wine, with tropical notes and citrus. A beautiful crisp acidity.

Rosé: Azulejos 🇵🇹
Light and refreshing. This rosé is a blend of Camarate & Cabernet Sauvignon. Little bit mineral and acidic, red fruits are abundant on the nose and palette.

We have a liquor license! And now we have beer on tap! 🚨

We’ve teamed up with the fine folks Sookram’s Brewing Co to offer you frosty pints of goodness. 🍻

For the yellow beer enthusiasts, we present Sookram’s Cult Classic. A golden pilsner (that’s a type of lager folks) full of crisp hops and bready malt. The zesty spice and floral notes from the hops balance the malt sweetness before its crisp finish. ☀️

Our other tap, affectionately referred to as “The Other Beer” (like picture asking us “What’s The Other Beer?”) will feature rotating offerings of deliciousness. For its inaugural pour we have a personal favourite, Desert Island IPA. A legendary IPA full of intense hops and tropical flavours. I absolutely love this beer. You should definitely be drinking this. I certainly would be, but you best believe we don’t get high on our own supply lol. You can catch me after service drinking a DI Park Alleys 🏝️

Living in Manitoba it’s hard to believe Spring is here to stay until at least the middle of July.

While we hit 22 degrees here in Winnipeg our neighbours in the Northern communities are bracing themselves for another snow storm and freezing rain.

One certainty amongst the chaos is that you’ll have a cracking good meal at The Oakwood no matter what the weather or the universe is throwing at us!

Join us Sunday-Thursday 9:00-3:00 and Friday/Saturday 9:00-7:00 for dine in, take out and delivery.
