The past two days, my heart has been overflowing with joy that words can hardly express.

This idea had been quietly growing in me for years. When I shared it with friends, most of them, though well-meaning, discouraged me. Even twenty years ago, I had suggested the same concept to a close friend for his business—but he only saw the flaws and stepped away.

Still, the thought never left me. Over time, it grew stronger, until I finally decided to take full responsibility and bring it to life myself. Once my closest friends saw how committed I was, they came forward to support me—and that meant everything.

What gave me confidence was the connection I’ve built over the past six years. I believe I’ve been able to understand the minds of nearly 80% of my customers. Yesterday, one of them said, “I’ll only feel truly satisfied if I can show the chef the amount I’m placing in this envelope.” That moment brought tears to my eyes. I respectfully discouraged him—because this was never about money. It was always about trust.

As Lalettan says, “Trust… isn’t that everything?”
That trust is what led me here. That trust is what made this work.

As MC’s Curry proudly enters its sixth successful year, we’re making a heartfelt effort to revive the spirit and trust once shared by the farmers of old Canada.

In many rural communities, Canadian farmers used to place their fresh produce by the roadside—without a shopkeeper—simply listing prices and trusting the honesty of those who stopped by.

Inspired by this beautiful tradition, MC’s Curry will be hosting a special event this Wednesday and Thursday.
On these two days, you decide the price of the food you enjoy while dining in the restaurant.

Please note: This offer is available for *DINE-IN-ONLY* and does not apply to takeout orders.

There will be a secure box available for you to deposit the amount you feel is fair.
Only you will know how much you choose to contribute—that is our promise.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that MC's Curry Restaurant is officially reopening Tomorrow ! We know you’ve missed us, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during our brief closure due to unforeseen circumstances. Your patience and understanding have meant the world to us.

As we get back on our feet, we’ll start slow and steady, working our way back to full capacity, but we’re excited to begin this journey with you again, one step at a time.
