Sadly, we had to close our original location due to the building being torn down, but we’re thrilled to keep the magic alive with Isekai Ramen! 🍜 That said, we’ve heard whispers that you miss some of our classic Dwarf no Cachette menu items. 😢

We want to hear from YOU! Help us bring back the nostalgia by commenting in this post : Which Dwarf no Cachette Cafe & Gift menu item do you miss the most? Your feedback could shape our next chapter! ✨

Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to more years of love, laughter, and delicious moments. 🥂

Because I had so much fun at the Dragon Quest-themed cafe, I had to try the Final Fantasy-themed cafe next. I came back to Akihabara the next day, lol!

It only took 20-25 minutes by train from Kamata (my hometown), so why not, right?

The Final Fantasy cafe was located in the same building as the Dragon Quest one, and I enjoyed this one just as much! The food and drinks were so good, and I loved their decorations, of course.

Akihabara is now definitely my favorite town, and I will be back!

We went to Akihabara to try themed collaboration cafes. I had been hoping to visit Luida’s Bar, which is a Dragon Quest-themed cafe, for a long time!

We were so excited from the moment we entered; it was decorated as if you were actually in the game! Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere was incredible! I loved the game’s BGM so much.

We wanted to try everything on the menu; all the items were so cool and pretty! Plus, every menu item came with a coaster you can collect, which was so much fun. Of course, the slime bun was my favorite!

♨️Kusatsu Onsen(Hot Spring)♨️

After our trip to Kyoto, we headed to Kusatsu Onsen in Gunma Prefecture, one of the famous onsens in Japan.

Since it was fall, we could see many beautiful autumn leaves! As we got closer to Kusatsu Onsen, we could smell the sulfur from the hot spring. Kusatsu Onsen is high in acidity, which disinfects your skin and makes it cleaner, but it’s a bit too strong, so don’t go into the onsen too many times!

The Yubatake (hot spring field) was really cool, and you can experience foot onsens everywhere! We wanted to watch the Yumomi Show, but there were already too many people lined up, so we gave up—maybe next time!

I wanted to share this puppy café with everyone! You know when you travel in Japan, you walk a lot, and sometimes your legs get sore, so you need to find a place to rest. We found this little puppy café in the middle of the Kyoto shopping district!

As soon as I got to the second floor (where it’s located), I screamed!! The fee was 1,000 yen for 30 minutes, and you receive one drink from a vending machine. The puppies were so friendly and wanted to cuddle!

We had so much fun and relaxed—my legs felt nicely rested.

✨Kyoto Trip Day 2 Dinner ✨

Because we were so satisfied last night, we decided to go to the same style of restaurant/izakaya operated by a great chef. I found “Osake to Gohan to Taka” in Kawara-cho. First of all, the kitchen was tiny but shiny! I could feel the chef’s pride and how good a cook he is.

We ordered many dishes, but little by little. I enjoyed watching him cook in front of me 🥹 I can’t express enough how good his food is! He changes his specialty menu periodically, and I was so sad that I couldn’t try his food more often. I wanted to move to Kyoto so badly because of this little gem.

We enjoyed fantastic local Kyoto vegetables that we had never tried! I wish I could travel around Japan and find great restaurants like this.

Please, please, please visit this place I would love to cover your travel fee!! (Jk)

I forgot to share about Iya Onsen near Kazura Bridge! We luckily found a day onsen on our way home, and it was absolutely a five-star onsen! Iya Onsen is one of Japan’s three famous secret onsens (1200 yen for one person).

The view from the onsen was phenomenal! You have to take a little cable car to get to the top; it was both fun and scary at the same time! 😂 The onsen was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my whole life!

If you are planning to go to Kazura Bridge, you should definitely visit this onsen!

✨Kyoto Trip Day 2✨

We visited Kiyomizu Temple, one of the most famous temples. You have to walk along a hill street where you can find many different shops and restaurants.

Kiyomizu Temple was huge, and there were many people! There are many statues of gods in the area, and you can buy a variety of “omamori” (Japanese amulets believed to bring good luck and protection). I bought some omamori for success in my business! 🤭

There were so many shops where you could rent a kimono. I wanted to wear one, but I knew that walking in a kimono would be difficult, so we gave up!

Kiyomizu Temple is a must-visit place if you are planning to go to Kyoto. They have everything!

✨Kyoto Trip 2✨

We were considering where to eat good food in Kyoto for our first dinner night, and there were so many places to choose from! Finally, we ended up going to a local izakaya/koryoriya that the locals frequent.

This type of small restaurant is usually owned and operated by 1 to 2 people who have specific skill sets. Typically, there are only counter seats and a few tables. This restaurant was absolutely a hit!

Their otoshi (a small dish served at the very beginning with the seat charge) was beautiful, and I had never encountered a dish like that before! Otoshi is usually just one kind, but they presented it like a work of art. 🥹

I’m not exaggerating—every single plate was eye-wateringly delicious! The chef recommended a local sake from Kyoto, and it paired beautifully with their food.

I want to go back again soon and try the rest of their menu.

Tip: Don't forget that this type of restaurant requires you to order at least one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) per person.

If you are planning to visit Kyoto, this place is a must-visit!

✨Kyoto Trip 1✨

I headed to Kyoto after Tokushima by Shinkansen and tried the “Seppourai” restaurant, which serves Kyoto cuisine using vegetables from the region.

I enjoyed their “obanzai” (dishes made from Kyoto ingredients); every tiny piece was incredible! I love when the plate features many ingredients in small portions!

After lunch, we headed to Todaiji (東大寺) to see Gojyu-no-Tou (五重塔). There are light displays during the night, so I recommend going after 6 PM.

Next, we visited “Fushimi Inari Taisha” (伏見稲荷大社). The area was huge, with so many temples! We tried to reach the top of the mountain through “Senbon Torii” (千本鳥居) but ended up turning back halfway because of the crowds!

The buildings there were beautifully lit up, creating a captivating atmosphere.
