A message from Stella Mazza….
HAPPY NEW YEAR to our SGC customers! It’s been a while since we’ve seen you.
The last couple of years have indeed been challenging for many businesses. Numerous times we were faced with the decision to temporarily close, open, close again, open, close…..
In 2016 when my family accepted the responsibility to open and operate SGC in Shelmerdines, we were excited with this new challenge and especially thrilled to be working alongside the Shelmerdine family. Our goal was to establish a comfortable scenic environment for all to enjoy. Each day we were happy to meet our new customers as we prepared delicious food and treats for them.
During this last year, I contemplated my four current business ventures and decided at this stage in my life it was time to scale down. Communicating my thoughts to Shelmerdines, we both agreed perhaps the space be utilized for something more fantastic that only Shelmerdines can do. As a result, Secret Garden Cafe will not be reopening in 2022.
I want to thank so many people for these wonderful years. Mainly to our customers. Your smiles, compliments, and conversations continued to motivate us. Thank You Nicole and Chad for embracing, trusting, and including the Mazza family in your amazing environment.
I personally want to thank my hard-working staff members including my children Katrina, Giovanna, and Tony, for their dedication and commitment, ensuring operations were smooth and managing many issues on their own (so mom doesn’t get stressed out) Tony was the most incredible manager. His work ethic and dedication to his job is exceptional.
THANK YOU all for providing us with great memories of a business we thoroughly enjoyed.
