Johnny G's Restaurant & Bar first opened its doors in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada in 1987, the name proudly taken from founder and current owner, Johnny Giannakis. At the time, Johnny G's was the fourth Late Night Restaurant in Winnipeg. The first location was on Osborne and Morley in the Fort Rouge area. In 1992 Johnny G`s Restaurant & Bar relocated to Main Street and Broadway Avenue to be closer to the Downtown Winnipeg Bar Scene. In 1996 Johnny G’s again relocated, expanding operations in a much larger space at 177 McDermot Avenue. In 2006 John and his wife Cia opened a second location, at 172 Main Street. Fully Renovated and Classically Appointed with seating for 120+ guests. With a Lower Level Bar, DJ Booth & Dance Floor and FREE WiFi it is the perfect venue for Christmas Parties, Birthdays, Business Meetings, Retirements, Anniversaries & Socials. With NO FEE FOR BOOKING Johnny G's offers Special Dining Packages including an Appetizer Buffet, Dinner Buffet & Full Service Dinner Menu.
