This Thursday Aug 13th, we have a meet and great with Kevin Fawley . The Remix City is a cautionary tale examining urban renewal and the role of the architecture plays within the city. Archival photos are used to remix the historical into a bizarre film noir narrative rediscovering lost technologies that were haplessly discarded in the name of technology.

Come check out the new artwork, lots of little Easter eggs and come meet the artist, who also happens to be am architect.

It's that time again! Blues & BBQ with Tracy K Mastaler working the blues, and we be doing the BBQ. Got those baby back ribs and chicken breasts smoked and served with our baked black beans, creamy slaw and cumin fried rice. Also got shrimp and glazed carrots as options finished with one of our house made BBQ sauces. Some damn music, food and drinks make for a great evening out! The BBQ starts at 5 and the music shortly after 8.

This late post is all on me, I've had the post graphics and got kicked by the Fringe Festival in a good way. But that does not take away the fact that we have another great night of music on the Bella Vista Wednesday night with Alex Maher ! Alex is a songwriter and loop artist layering sax, guitar and funky electric pop.

Come on down, catch some great tunes and enjoy some good eats and drinks. Rendezvous Brewing will be on special all night long and the AC working hard to keep the night cool.

What a way to end Winnipeg Fringe Festival then with Riel Gentlemen's Choir singing Down Among the Dead Men! If you didn't see their Fringe play Babel, you missed some quality Fringe!
It was great to see this corner of the West End with so much activity and love and want to give a big thanks to all that made it happen. Thanks to West End Cultural Centre and The Gargoyle Theatre for hosting and thanks to the performers for performing and the patrons for their patronage. Big thanks to the musicians playing here amongst the kaos of Fringe, we had Dylan Csincsa and Kara Hummelt on our Bella Vista Wednesday Nights, and we had Impressions Jazz Group do their thejazzworkshopwinnipeg with special guest Pahukama. And then their was PupusaPalooza! Rafa brought Grupo/Trio El Solar and his mom with family and friends for another epic night! Happy Birhtday Raf!

And finally have to give a big shoutout to my team who worked extra hard to keep the King Cob going through the Fringe. They did an amazing job making us some new friends and hosting our old friends. Amidst all the kaos, our chef Marc, killed it with the usual great food for so many new fans.

Once again thanks, it's been a crazy couple of weeks and looking forward to seeing you all again soon. We are taking a couple of days off and be back at it again this Wednesday for our next Bella Vista night with Alex Maher
