🍔 LE BURGER WEEK 2026 - #7 ACROSS CANADA! 🇨🇦

Well… we did it! Our first time participating in Le Burger Week, and we somehow finished #7 across Canada! 🇨🇦🔥

Honestly, we couldn’t be more grateful. A HUGE THANK YOU to every single person who came through, waited in line, ordered our burger, came back for another one, or simply supported us throughout the week.

And yes… we know there were some long waits! We heard you! But trust us, we were moving as fast as humanly possible. We were making burgers like never before!

There were moments when the kitchen was absolutely slammed, tickets were piling up, and we were wondering if we were going to survive the week! But seeing so many people excited to try our burger made every stressful moment worth it.

For us, this wasn’t just a competition, it was a learning experience. We learned so much about preparation, organization, timing, and what we can do better going forward.

#7 in Canada in our very first year? We’ll definitely take that! 🙌

🏆 CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!
A huge congratulations to every restaurant that participated in Le Burger Week and put their creativity and passion into their burger creation. It was awesome seeing so many great restaurants take part!
And a very special congratulations to the winner and fellow Interlake community members, Carlo’s Cucina - Carlo, Marnie, and the entire team!

Great competition is always a good thing. It pushes all of us to be creative, challenge ourselves, and keep improving. The Interlake should be proud of the amazing restaurants and talented people we have right here in our community!

Our Hearts Are With Everyone Affected 🤍

All of us at Midnight Annie’s want to extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the young people who tragically lost their lives in the devastating collision near Winnipeg Beach.

There are simply no words that can ease a loss of this magnitude. Our hearts go out to every family facing unimaginable pain, and to all those injured and recovering from this terrible accident.

We also want to recognize the first responders, emergency crews, healthcare workers, and everyone who has supported those affected.

Today, our communities are grieving together. May we surround these families with compassion, strength, and love, and remind them that they do not have to face this sorrow alone.

Please keep all of the families, friends, and communities affected in your thoughts.

🍔 LAST DAY OF LE BURGER WEEK! 🔥

We honestly couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who came out this week to try our “Kind of a Big Dill” burger!

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, brought friends, shared our post, gave us feedback, voted, and supported us throughout the week. We truly appreciate the love and support from our community more than you know.

Today is your LAST chance to try the burger! We’re open until 8:00 PM, so if you haven’t had a chance yet, come grab one while you can! And don’t forget to go online and rate/vote for our burger, we’d really appreciate it! 🗳️

We also want to apologize to everyone who came to visit us but couldn’t stay because the house was full, and to those who experienced longer wait times. We know waiting isn’t always easy, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Our team has been working non-stop to make sure every order is prepared properly and with the care you deserve. ❤️

This was our first year participating in Le Burger Week, so we’re definitely still learning! It has been busy, exciting, and a little overwhelming at times 😅, but such a great opportunity for us to learn and grow. And the good news is… we’re coming back next year! 🎉🍔

A little reminder as well: we will be CLOSED Tuesday, September 8 through Thursday, September 10 to give our amazing team a well-deserved short break. They’ve worked incredibly hard, and they deserve a few days to recharge!

We’ll be back Friday, September 11 at 11:00 AM and can’t wait to see you all again!

One year of Midnight Annie’s ❤️

Last night felt extra special. One year ago, we opened our doors with our friends and family, Two Crows for Comfort, playing for us. They’re such an incredible band and some of the best people we know, so having them back with us one year later was really special. We couldn’t capture them on video last night, but we’re so grateful they were part of both our first night and our first anniversary.

Then Papa Mambo Trio brought the music, people danced merengue, and the room was full of so much joy. It was such a beautiful way to celebrate this first year.

We’re so, so grateful for all the love and support this community has given us. For everyone who has come through our doors, shared a meal, brought friends, danced, listened to music, celebrated with us, or simply stopped by.

And a huge thank you to our staff, who have been part of this journey from day one. We’re really lucky to have such good people around us. We’re always learning, figuring things out, and trying to make Midnight Annie’s a little better every day. We know we still have a long way to go, but we’re excited for what’s ahead.

The support during Le Burger Week has also been huge, and we’re just incredibly grateful. Thank you for showing up for us in all the ways you do.

One year down, so much more to learn, grow, and experience. Thank you for being part of our first year. We’re just getting started. ❤️
