Hello all...due to lack of staff today as this might happen time to time because everyone is moving forward in careers we unfortunately will not be opening today. We will be open next week every day with exception of Wednesdays for same reasons.

I understand these times are going to be difficult to be supportive. We might have to be closed or close early because we are closing for good and people are moving forward. Please help be understanding moving forward and we can all make this last month as successful as we can!

Good morning Green Bean family.

This is a post i have been so reluctant to post as it makes it all so real. Unfortunately as of apr 30th the latest Green Bean Café will be shutting our doors to the community.

We have been open for 15 years and have become a staple to many students and faculty in the community. We have gone through ups and downs, seen people start off as young students then thrive into their careers. We have built relationships with so many. It brings tears to my eyes that this establishment will no longer be a part of the community.

I am the third owner here at the Green Bean Café. I wished i could continue as owner but life has other plans for me at this time. I did however not want to close the doors but sell this business so we could continue serving to you and the community for more years to come. Unfortunately the church (our landlords ) have decided that selling wasn't an option. So it has left me no choice but to close down

So please help us take these last few months to make them the best few months we have had in a while. I hope to see all your faces old and new come in for a visit and one last ambassador before we have to say goodbye

Hello all! Few things going on this week.

Today february 11th we will be closed at 3pm for a private event

Tomorrow february 12th we have our favourite people from .resist.support coming by from 11-3 for the condom bar set up

Friday february 14th and saturday february 15th we will be closed for the long weekend.

Next week family day we will not be open
We will be open 10-3 for drinks tuesday to friday and 10-2 for kitchn for that week as it is reading week at university.
