🍳 THE CARIBOO CAFE IS HIRING! 🥐
Part-Time Kitchen Staff | $22/hour to start

Do you genuinely love to cook and bake? We’re looking for someone experienced in the food industry to join our small but mighty team!

The Cariboo Cafe isn’t just delicious drinks and customer service. Behind the scenes, we also prepare catering, baking and full meals for large groups, so we need someone who is comfortable in a small busy kitchen and knows their way around food prep and cooking in a small space.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous food industry/kitchen experience
• Has experience preparing and cooking meals
• Loves cooking AND baking
• Can work independently and stay organized
• Is comfortable helping with both café service and back-of-house prep
• Has a valid FoodSafe certificate
• Is reliable, hardworking and happy to jump in wherever needed

💰 $22-25 an hour to start and based on experience.
📅 4 days per week possibly more. Some weekends.
⏰ 5–6 hour shifts

And an important perk for parents: Being moms ourselves, we can offer flexibility around school pickup! We know how hard it can be to find a job that actually works with having kids in school. So if your a mom who loves cooking dinner (i know, hard ask sometimes as moms we hate deciding what's for dinner! 😅)

I have been made aware that I am late releasing our fall drinks at the cafe and lots of people are desperate for their pumpkin and apple spice favs! 😅 Fall really snuck it there so fast that I failed to sort out the menu!

So we will be releasing some amazing cozy fall drinks next week.

Me and my crew have been away and working hard being the lunch ladies at Gavin Lake for a camp. It was amazing and a lot of work with delicious food! But we are back now and recovering! Cafe Open Saturday 10-3 and CLOSED SUNDAY AND MONDAY! 🫶🍂🍁🍂🍁
