✨🎶 Some evenings are about great food. Others become memories that last a lifetime. ❤️

What an incredible honour for Chef Sandra to prepare an exclusive five-course private dining experience for one of Canada’s most beloved musical icons of the past 40 years — Mr. Roch Voisine! 🇨🇦

And the timing couldn’t be more special. This coming Saturday, September 26, Roch will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame at Toronto’s legendary Massey Hall, alongside some of the greatest names in Canadian music. 🏆🎶

But what made our evening truly extraordinary wasn’t the fame or the accolades.

It was the wonderful conversations, the exchange of life experiences, the shared memories and, above all, the laughter around the table.

At the heart of our five-course dinner was an exceptional bison tenderloin, hunted by our mutual friend Patrick. A beautiful piece of the Yukon, prepared with love by Chef Sandra and shared among friends.

And because no great European dining experience is complete without cheese, we also had the pleasure of presenting a tasting of some truly stunning cheeses from our very own Cultured Fine Cheese. 🧀🍷

Different journeys. Different stories. One table.

Evenings like this remind us why we love what we do. Food is so much more than what we put on a plate. It brings people together, breaks down barriers, creates friendships and turns simple moments into unforgettable memories.

And sometimes, a little restaurant in the Yukon gets to share its passion with someone whose music has touched millions of hearts across generations. ❤️

Thank you, Roch, for your warmth, your stories, your humour and a truly wonderful evening. It was an absolute pleasure and an honour to cook for you.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Congratulations to Team FrancoYukon! 🎉

They crossed the finish line in an incredible 26th place out of 139 teams, setting a few personal records along the way! We like to think the pre-race fries helped a little. 😜🍟

We were so proud to support this amazing team again this year. Racing through the Yukon under the northern lights sounds like an unforgettable experience!

Well done to the entire FrancoYukon team — what a fantastic achievement!

❤️ From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. ❤️

Another season has come to an end, and Caribou RV Park and Cork&Fork are now closed until next spring.

Every year, when we finally close the doors, there is this strange mix of relief, exhaustion, pride… and a little sadness too.

Because these places are so much more to us than businesses.

They are long days and very short nights. They are thousands of little problems solved behind the scenes. They are pizzas coming out of the oven, guests arriving after a long drive, busy evenings on the patio, conversations over a beer, laughter from the campground and familiar faces walking through the door again and again.

And all of that is because of you.

To everyone who stayed with us this summer, whether you came from Whitehorse, across Canada, the United States, Europe or somewhere even farther away: thank you for choosing us and for becoming part of our story.

To our local guests: thank you for supporting us, recommending us, bringing your friends and families, coming back for dinner, pizza, a drink or simply to say hello. Having such incredible support from our own community means more to us than you probably realize.

And then there is our team. ❤️

We could never do this without you.

Thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the crazy busy days, the laughs, the stress, the flexibility and the countless times you simply stepped in and made things work. You gave so much of yourselves to make our guests feel welcome, and Sandra and I are incredibly grateful and proud of what we achieved together.

There were moments this summer when we wondered how we were going to get everything done… and somehow, together, we always did.

Now it is time to slow down a little.

The ovens are off, the patio is quiet, the campground is settling into winter, and for the first time in months we might even remember what a weekend feels like. 😄

Looking back at this season, we mostly feel one thing:

Grateful.

Grateful for our guests.
Grateful for our locals.
Grateful for our team.
Grateful that we get to do this in this beautiful little corner of the Yukon.

Thank you for an incredible 2026 season and for being part of Caribou RV Park and Cork&Fork.

We’ll miss the noise, the laughter and all of you.

But don’t worry… before we know it, the snow will melt, the pizza oven will be hot again and another Yukon summer will begin. ❤️🌲🍕🍺

Update. Yes I made it. 3007 pizzas. I had a goal of 3000 and despite being out in the penalty box for 3 weeks I made it!!!!! Thanks to you all peeps!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Last shift on the pizza tonight after 2965 pizzas. Will I reach the 3000?

Tomorrow, Thursday, September 10th, is our LAST DAY OF PIZZA until next spring.

That’s it. Finito. Basta. 🇮🇹
The pizza oven is going into hibernation. 💤🔥

So whatever it takes — rearrange your plans, cancel that sensible dinner, tell the family there has been an emergency… 😂

If you want ONE MORE REAL ITALIAN PIZZA before the long Yukon winter, it is now or never.

Because after tomorrow… you’ll have to dream about it until spring. 🍕❤️
