PAWPAW 🍌🌿

One of Ontario’s weirdest and most wonderful little secrets.

Pawpaw is actually North America’s largest native fruit, growing wild right here in southern Ontario. Despite looking like something that should be growing in a jungle, it tastes wildly tropical — somewhere between banana, pineapple, mango and custard.

Even Baloo knew what was up.

And because apparently Ontario can grow its own tropical fruit, we’re turning these little guys into pawpaw ice cream for our guests this week.

A very Ontario jungle situation.

Also from 12–3 PM, we’re participating in Downtown Whitby’s BIA Trick-or-Treat event and handing out candy to all the tiny monsters wandering through downtown. 👻

There’s a scavenger hunt, spooky photo booth, balloon twisting, character meet-and-greets and a special appearance from the Toronto Ghostbusters.

We’ll see you at the market! We will be absent next week for the season finale so it's the last Whitby Market of 2026 for us.

And we have one table open this Saturday if you want to come eat with us.

Just 8 tables, a six-course dinner, handmade pasta, beautiful vegetables from local organic farms, and a menu revealed when you arrive.

We make everything from scratch, every week, and fill the room twice a night with lovely people.
