Today was a test bake of pies!

I will be offering a limited quantity of 5inch fruit pies using fresh local produce this Sunday along side your sourdough orders!

Blueberry-using local blueberries
Blackberry raspberry-using blackberries fresh picked by me and raspberries from Crofton
Cherry-using Okanagan cherries
Caramel Apple crumble- using fresh picked apples off the tree in my yard that I do believe are translucent apples and fresh house made caramel

Italian Herb and cheese sourdough is back this Sunday!

Always a great flavour this sourdough uses a blend of mild, medium and sharp cheddars paired with a perfect amount of Italian seasoning and dash of garlic!

Great along side pasta as garlic toast, or as a grilled cheese sandwich!

Still a couple of days to order for this week!

It’s my first week back after my move for sourdough Sunday! Time to get back in the kitchen and create!

This weeks sourdough flavours are
-classic white
-Italian herb and cheese
-lemon blueberry

I will also have a few sweet treats available-bringing out 5 inch pies, perfect for sharing between 2 people!
Cherry, blueberry, blackberry/raspberry will be available! All fillings made from scratch using fresh fruits!

Who wants a sweet treat to go with their sourdough this weekend?

I will be making some 5inch fruit pies! It’s fruit season and there are so many great choices to choose from! What is your favourite pie?

Personally I love a good berry or cherry pie!…..although my opinion on that may change by the time I pit all these fresh Okanagan cherries 🤣

As I wander around the yard picking a handful of fresh blackberries I’m amazed by the amount of Blackberry bushes here, lots of ideas coming to mind including fruit pies!
