Some of the best nights are the ones you couldn’t have planned. ❤️

Saturday started with sunshine, live music and a restaurant full of laughter. People came for lunch, stayed for another song, another drink… and suddenly the afternoon was gone.

Then Danny Floyd Cole took over Pete’s last night and had the whole room singing along and dancing.

And because apparently that wasn’t enough… our friends Mattie, Carson and Niall popped in, picked up the instruments and joined the fun for an hour.

No big announcement. No plan.

Just talented musicians, friends, a packed room and one of those nights that reminds us why we love Waskesiu.

That’s Pete’s. ❤️

We said Festival Week starts early at Pete’s… apparently Waskesiu understood the assignment. 😂

A few people came in last night. Then a few more. Then a whole crew walked through the door.

So we pulled out the karaoke.

And Pete’s did what Pete’s does. 🎤🍻🎶

Tonight we do it again — only bigger.

Apparently it’s performance review season at Pete’s. 📋

Nobody asked him to do it, but Stewart has spent the week quietly observing the staff from the patio…and the results are in.

😄 Keeping our guests happy: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌲 Patio atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🥜 Management’s peanut procurement: ⭐⭐

“Needs improvement.”

We tried explaining that peanuts are not actually part of Pete’s employee benefits package.

Stewart has requested a meeting with HR. 😂🐿️

So if you see him sitting quietly on the patio this week, be careful.
