Roots & Roosts is our family run farm, currently known as AAA Farm. Located on a scenic bluff overlooking the Ottawa River in Waltham Quebec.

Our farm rests on a bluff overlooking the Ottawa river. The granite mountain and the Ottawa river create a unique micro ecosystem allowing a wide variety of crops to grow. We use proven natural growing methods and also integrate modern greenhouse techniques such as tomato clips and raised beds. This allows for healthier w**d free plants without the use of chemicals. We do not specialize in only on

e crop allowing us to experiment with natures bounty. But all of our vegetable crops are grown from heirloom seeds. Our crops include asparagus, spring onions, hascap, service berries and both red and black currants, blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, blackberries, tomatoes, melons, apples, plums, pears and potatoes. We also use our produce to home can jams, jellies and sauces. Most jams, jellies and sauces are available in regular, hot, hotter and hottest. Depending on your taste. Don't knock Raspberry Jalapeno jam until you try it!

We are a small family farm in Waltham Qc, growing heirloom vegetables, fruit and herbs.
We offer a 18 week Good Food basket (CSA basket) program that runs from June to Mid October. Once a week you will receive a basket filled with all of the seasons bounty delivered to your door. This year you also have the option to add a pick your own berry membership. Interested? Let's talk

Well the first batch of rhubarb has been harvested... And the leaves processed into our season's supply of natural pesticide.

Absolutely!!! Let's start with our plates. Choose real food, grown locally using natural methods. Skip the genetically modified foods, the factory raised chicken, the produce laden with chemical. There are better choices.

Spring clean up is in full swing. The Friday night crew includes myself, Clarke our pup, 3 geese and a dozen or so chickens. This bed will be planted tomorrow.
