This June there is a U18 Boys Fastball Tournament in Victoria. For the first time in over a decade boys fastball will have a tournament in Victoria. There are three teams wanting to play in the tournament so far, two from Northern BC and one from Yukon.

If you know someone who wants to play and doesn't have a team, feel free to message me. Help bring back Boys fastball, spread the word.

With 2025 coming to a close our goal is to return to Victoria BC and relaunch Montreal Subs. We may be able to return for delivery only in 2026 with a brick and mortar location later in 2026.

Our team has worked hard this year to work on returning, but the stumbling block is costs. Our team is trying to reduce costs and let you know that we are still setting a high standard of quality and taste. We will have more information in early 2026 about hopefully returning.

The team at Montreal Subs is working hard to bring back the brand to Victoria in 2026. A revamp of the infrastructure and cutting costs but adding quality. It seems impossible but its not.

We are looking at making our own bread from scratch each week. That is one way we are making serious changes to bring back the brand.

While Montreal Subs is on the shelf. Our family is still working in the restaurant industry. Now in downtown Victoria, my son inlaw Yoshi opened his own authentic Ramen restaurant.

A family recipie from a great chef, Yoshi is one, if not , the best Ramen in Victoria.

Two popular Japanese cuisine businesses who previously operated as pop-ups and ghost kitchens have collaborated to open a brick and mortar restaurant in downtown Victoria.
