Here’s one of the seafood platters coming together. Lobster, prawns, mussels, clams and all the good stuff.

🍂🎃 Fall Fair is returning to Heritage Acres! 🎃🍂

Join us for one of our favourite weekends of the year as we celebrate the sights, sounds, and traditions of autumn at Heritage Acres.

Bring the whole family and spend the day exploring our historic grounds, meeting farm animals, riding the miniature trains, enjoying delicious food, and taking part in hands-on activities for all ages.

🕘 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Activities include:
🌽 Steamed corn
🚜 Steam tractors and boilers
⚙️ Blacksmith demonstrations
💧 Interactive games and water pump station
🌾 Threshing machine demonstrations and candy scramble
🪵 Sawmill demonstrations
🎶 Live music and dancing
🐐 Farm animals
🍔 Food vendors

🚂 Miniature train rides
10:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
$3 per ride
(Operated by the Vancouver Island Model Engineers)

🎟 Admission:
$8 per person
Children 12 and under are free.
Train rides are not included in admission.

🐾 Dogs are welcome on a leash.

Whether you’re continuing a family tradition or visiting for the very first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to Heritage Acres for a weekend full of history, community, and fall fun.

We’re hiring!

Island Culinary Service is looking for a full-time Head Chef, part- and full-time Chefs, and casual part-time Servers for the holiday season.

Our kitchen prepares everything from soups, sauces, sandwiches and salads to salmon, prime rib and Beef Wellington for corporate lunches, weddings, banquets and plated dinners.

A valid driver’s licence is preferred for the Chef positions. Holiday Servers do not need a licence but must be able to reliably get to and from event locations.
