“I applied to volunteer at the Coffee House because I wanted to gain experience as a barista. I was able to learn how to work in the kitchen and make drinks for customers, while also getting to know the amazing people that run the Coffee House and Extreme Outreach. It is a great experience to be able to learn work skills and see how much the people at Extreme Outreach do for the community.” Simé

Shifts are available Monday - Friday between 8-4. Located at 102-284 Helmcken Rd

Tasks Include: welcoming customers, serving specialty coffee drinks, preparing sandwiches, cleaning/tidying, in-house outreach prep; Training included.

“I loved my experience at Extreme Coffee House. It was an incredibly rewarding summer during which I was able to improve my interpersonal skills and develop my barista techniques. This Coffee House is a warm and welcoming place where everyone feels at home. Plus, the food and drinks are excellent. This experience made me realize that you don’t have to be perfect to do a good job. I will always be grateful to this organization, which gives young people a chance in this world. Our Extreme Coffee House is a community outreach, primarily run by volunteers, where items are purchased by donation. Proceeds after expenses go towards the programs & outreaches we provide throughout the year for disadvantaged children, youth, and their families. Venue Rental Available
Extreme Coffee House is available for weekly group rentals and one-time events! The venue comes equipped with a large screen, sound system, and stage, Wi-Fi, free parking, and an optional barista. Capacity is 40-50 people. Proceeds help fund the work of Extreme Outreach. Times available: Weekdays from 4 pm onward; Sat, Sun - all day.
