James Bay Coffee and Books
is a rare find. An oasis of small town retro charm in the severity of modern coffee chains, we provide a comfortable friendly setting for latte sipping, made to order sandwich (BLT's, Smoked Turkey, Vegetarian, vegan/gluten-free chili, or vegan cookie munching, and book, used vinyl and CD and vintage collectibles purchasing. We are one of the few independent coffee shops left in Victoria, which in combination with the used bookstore creates a funky welcoming atmosphere hosting art shows, live music: Wednesday Bluegrass Jam Circle 7 to 9, Friday Live Music Open Mic and Feature Nights 7 to 9, open stage, Tea Leaf Reading, book readings, club meetings and community. Our crew - made up of musicians, writers, costumers and artisans - is interesting and friendly. Owner Kim Elizabeth Willoughby invites you to come on in. Open 7 days a week
