It has been 23 years working, living, breathing, thinking Aegean. The pandemic has taken a toll with my mental well being and capacity to bounced back. I lost my zest for cooking and creativity was lacking. I tried my best to keep going and hoping that customers will come en masse as soon as the pandemic is over. Unfortunately, since most offices are still on 30% occupancy and the 70% Civil servants still choose to work from home, our business have suffered since we are dependent on the office workers.
Today is our last day of operations. The new owners will be given the keys on November 1st. Please continue to patronized this small business.
Thank you for your continuous support. The friendship we have developed over the years is priceless. You have seen my boys grow up from toddler to adulthood, seen me pregnant and breastfeeding my second son. I've met your spouses, children and you've always make a point in showing off your grand babies too when you come downtown. We've been through divorces, weddings, pregnancies and countless milestones in our lives. Thank you! Thank you!

We are open for business. Please don't mind the construction site in front of our corner. The city is upgrading the electrical that they didn't do during the building of the bicycle lane. So, the City of Victoria Public Works decided to do it this time. According to them it will be one week and a half construction if every thing goes well.

But, don't hold your breath. I was told that is the case if there is no delay with the concrete. There is a shortage of concrete because there was fire at a concrete facility in Vancouver.

In the meantime, please do not be afraid of the big hole in front of our café. We are open until tomorrow. We will be closed for Canada Day(Friday)
