Here’s a behind the scenes peek at how Esther decorated this stunner of a cake for a 13th birthday celebration.

We started with a 4-layer vegan chocolate cake and filled it with strawberry vegan icing (yum!). Then Esther made all of the delicate roses and daisies, multi-coloured book spines with titles and Chapter 13 scroll.

This beauty took over 5 hours to decorate due to the intricate details and colours - all made by hand out of fondant.

This was one of the most complex and gorgeous cakes we have made this year and we were thrilled to have had the privilege of crafting it for the birthday girl (who is obviously an avid reader)!

This cupcake started with a friendship.

When we connected with Genna at Gigi's Italian and Specialty Foods in Cordova Bay, we knew pretty quickly that if we were going to do a Tiramisu cupcake, it had to be done right. Gigi's was built on the belief that food is an experience; that quality ingredients and shared moments are what make a meal matter. That philosophy felt very familiar to us.

So we worked on it together until it was worthy of the name.

The result: a vanilla cake with a fluffy coffee whipped cream and cream cheese topping, a light dusting of cocoa, and a squeezable pipette so you can infuse the cake with espresso yourself right before that first bite.

It joined our lineup in 2025 and it hasn't left. Get yours at Ooh La La Tuesdays to Saturdays and Gigi's seven days a week!

Here’s a peek at how we decorated this lovely 4-layer carrot cake for a milestone birthday celebration! Filled with cream cheese icing and finished with our classic vanilla buttercream in the prettiest shades of pinks and green, it’s a beautiful cake to celebrate a beautiful person.

Here’s a BTS peek at how Hannah created this stunner of a custom floral cake! 🌸

The 4-layer classic vanilla cake is finished in a soft pink-and-white ombré, then topped with handmade buttercream flowers carefully arranged in a crescent and finished with white edible pearls in varying sizes.

This is one of our favourite styles to create because the look can change so dramatically depending on the colour palette. From soft and fluttery to bold and bright, the flowers and colours can be tailored to reflect your personality and the theme of your special event.

Check out how we decorate our Signature Funfetti Celebration Cake! 🎉

It starts with four layers of vanilla Funfetti cake, with colourful sprinkles baked right inside, then gets filled and covered in creamy vanilla buttercream. We finish it with a generous dose of confetti sprinkles along the bottom and top borders for the perfect party-ready look!

It’s a fun, cheerful cake that’s especially great for a crowd with kids. Perfect for birthdays, celebrations and just about any excuse to eat cake. And our Razzle Dazzle and Happy Birthday Funfetti cupcakes are a great compliment if you need to bump up servings.
