❤️❤️❤️ THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️

Today marks the end of an incredible chapter - my café has officially closed. I’m beyond grateful for the love, support, and countless memories shared over the past two years. Every hug, kind word, and farewell message has meant the world to me.

This was my second business in the restaurant industry here in Victoria, BC, and while it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I’m excited for what’s ahead. I’ll be focusing on my Psychology degree and finishing a book about my personal health journey - something deeply connected to my years as a nutritionist and my passion for helping others.

To everyone who made this café what it was - thank you! A special shoutout to my incredibly talented boyfriend for bringing my vision to life and being my go-to fix-it guy every step of the way. And to my amazing staff, Patty & Paige - I’m so grateful for you both. I loved working with you and truly appreciate everything you’ve done. ❤️

We have some bittersweet news to share with you! Our beloved Café has been sold, and our last day operating will be this Saturday, February 1st. The new owners will have the shop temporarily closed while they make their changes, and will aim to open in March. The business name will change to Marina Bay Cafe, and they will not be plant-based and gluten-free like we are, however they will offer those options!

First and foremost, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing customers—both new faces and our loyal regulars. Your support over the past two years has meant the world to us, and we’ll truly miss seeing you around. A special thank you to our incredible team members, Patty and Paige, for their hard work, exceptional customer service, and infectious positivity—it’s been an absolute joy working with you!

Together, we’ve built a wonderful little community here at West Bay Café, and we’re confident that the new owners will carry on its success. We’ll be forever grateful for the memories and connections we’ve made. We hope to see you around before we close this Saturday!

Today we provided another local school with their monthly hot lunch! Delicious kid friendly smoothies, grilled cheeses, soups, muffins and flaxrolls. Always gluten free and plant based 🌱

If your child has celiac disease or has allergies to animal products - we can offer a safe lunch. Contact your school’s PAC to get West Bay Cafe as a monthly treat ❤️

Meet the lovely Paige! She’s sure to welcome you with a smile, and most likely make you laugh out loud with her sense of humour 😄

Paige has been working here at West Bay cafe for 3 months now.

This creative soul has an English degree and inspires to write short stories! She loves arts and crafts, singing and music. Paige also has a big heart for animals 💗

Her favourite menu items are the Veggie sandwich, and a good ol’ Dirty Golden Latte (our golden latte with a shot of espresso!)
