If your rice comes out gluey or overcooked, try this method. It never fails me. An important note: if you're cooking for more than a few people, consider cooking your rice in a hotel pan in the oven, which is how I do it for large batches.

And if you're thinking this is way too many steps, then don't do it boo boo 😂. Having rice pre-made in the fridge for a couple of days is pretty clutch for quick clenches and dinners.

Hey Vernon cooks!
Chef Lauren is on the hunt for a new member of the team. Specifically, a prep cook.

Details👇🏻
Shifts are Mondays and Tuesday days (approx 12 hours per week)
Duties will include:
-Helping the chef prepare the weekly menu which changes each week!
-Keeping the kitchen space nice and tidy (we all clean and do dishes around here)

We'd love to find someone with experience but this could also be a great fit for a culinary student looking for extra hours (apprentices, we can sign off on your hours!)

Compensation will depend on experience.
