Cari Amici, Dear friends,

After much thought and reflection, we have decided to close The Vegitaliano effective immediately as we or I will be retiring.

It has been an amazing adventure, 5 years long at our current location but much longer in actual fact. When we opened the first Italian vegan restaurant in the GTA and in particular Vaughan we knew we would be facing a tough road. In actual fact, we were embraced immediately by the vegan community and later even a good number of the non vegan community everywhere!
You came from throughout Southern Ontario to frequent The Vegitaliano. You have continued to support us, and for that, we are Blessed and forever grateful!
It has been our pleasure and honor to cook for you, your families and friends, for your special occasions and events.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
This is not Goodbye, but Arrivederci, see you around.

Our focaccia sandwiches begin with our made from scratch focaccia. Light and airy and baked to perfection. Topped with pieces of tomato and rosemary. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, makes for a perfect sandwich. The inside of our focaccia sandwiches are made up of our homemade seitan salami, roasted peppers and vegan provolone cheese.

Cari Amici, Dear Friends,
We now offer gluten free personal size vegetable frozen lasagna!

Made from scratch using Italian Gluten free and vegan lasagna. Made with our homemade tomato sauce and layered with roasted peppers, sauteed spinach, sauteed mushrooms, our homemade mozzarella and bechamel. We have 3 serving sizes (two of which are catering and made to order, only). Our personal size frozen lasagnas serves 2-3 people. Let thaw overnight in fridge or on counter (1-2 hours), then warm through in 375F oven for 20-30 minutes minimum. Enjoy!!!

Cari Amici, Dear Friends,
Our focaccia bread is made from scratch. Light and airy and baked to perfection. Topped with pieces of tomato and rosemary. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, 1 whole focaccia vacuumed packed and frozen. Thaw and heat in 400F oven for 15 min approx or until crunchy. Enjoy!
