This week, our own O'Neil McLean took a bold step forward in addressing a critical issue facing our community: a driver was recently turned away from a local food bank, despite having the proper proxy documentation signed through our app by a client unable to travel.

In response, O'Neil has successfully arranged a strategic meeting with a Scarborough MPP, and has extended invitations to the Mayor of Toronto and the Mayor of Scarborough. The goal? To urge the Daily Bread Food Bank to update its stance and accept digital proxy documentation — a small change that could have a massive impact for thousands of people who rely on XP Eats for their food access.

This isn't just about one driver or one food bank. It’s about the future of inclusive, tech-enabled hunger relief.
