We’ve been looking forward to sharing this coffee for a while.

Our newest seasonal is a Natural from Los Laureles in Santa Bárbara, Honduras, and it’s a really fun one: watermelon candy, applesauce, and papaya.

One of the best parts of what we do is getting to know the people behind the coffee. Over the years, Arbey Mejía has become a good friend, and that makes roasting and sharing coffees like this even more meaningful. He’s built an incredible group of about 30 producers who are focused on quality while farming with so much care and intention.

The coffee is grown under the shade of banana and timber trees, and the producers use thoughtful practices like composting coffee pulp, recirculating water during processing, and solar drying before the coffee heads to the mill.

We’re proud to have this one on the seasonal rotation, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

New seasonal coffees have landed! This time, we’re featuring two coffees from Joyabaj, Guatemala. Same region, same harvest, different processing methods.

🍯 Honey Process: maraschino cherry, chocolate ganache, and caramel candy.

🍈 Natural Process: guava, melon, and chocolate cake.

Grown by more than 1,500 smallholder farmers and processed through the community-run Joyabaj Wet Mill, these coffees are a great example of how much processing can shape flavour.

The Joyabaj project was created to support specialty coffee production in a region with generations of Indigenous coffee-growing knowledge. We’re excited to share these coffees and the story behind them.

Available now online and at the roastery.

We’re hiring a Delivery Driver! 🚐☀️🌈

After 5 years with us, our incredible driver is moving on to a new chapter, which means we’re looking for someone new to join the team.

This role is mostly focused on delivering coffee to our wholesale customers around the Lower Mainland, with the occasional helping hand around the roastery.

If you’re reliable, organized, and enjoy being on the road, we’d love to hear from you.

Full posting on our website.

Freshly brewed coffee at home is still our favourite way to drink coffee. But sometimes you’re camping, hiking, staying somewhere with terrible hotel coffee, running late, or just needing an emergency coffee stash at work. That’s where these come in.

Our new single serve coffees are available as brew sachets and pour over packs. Not a replacement for brewing coffee properly, but a really good option for the moments when that’s just not happening.

Throw a few in your backpack, suitcase, glove compartment, or desk drawer.

We’re moving!!

You might have noticed the not-so-beautiful “for lease” sign outside the roastery covering way too much of our mural. Fear not, we’re not going far! We’re moving just a block down the street to a bigger, brighter, better space.

At the moment, we’re just waiting on City permits, but if all goes smoothly, we should be welcoming you into the new space by the end of summer or early fall. Please cross your fingers for us that permits come through without delays. 🤞🏽

We’re so excited and can’t wait to show you the new space soon.

And in the meantime… sorry about the eyesore outside our doors 😅

Inabel, holding the final product of his work that started long before it reached us at the roastery. Coffee is built on time, care, and a lot of effort that remains out of sight for many of us, but it is what matters most. Moments like this bring it back into focus. ❤️
