My name is Matt and I am and own The Dumpling King. I'm also really needing some help as the business is (thankfully) booming. If you're looking to pick up some part-time work I'd love to have you come in and join our growing team. Some of the responsibilities involved are...

- setting up and closing a station
- prepping and mixing the filling
- folding/portioning dumplings
- bagging orders/quality control audit
- taking inventory of product and ingredients
- assisting in my prep and service for pop-ups/projects with local restaurants/brands (optional)

Skills and attributes expected of this role:
- punctuality
- keeping your word
- respect
- honesty
- hand speed & precision
- a sense of personal responsibility to begin and complete a task exceptionally
- attention to detail
- knife work
- patience & discipline

This would be a part-time gig at 15-20 hours a week at my brand new commissary in East Van located at 1370 East Georgia Street. This job is pretty chill, with no high stress or rushed work environments as most kitchens are. Despite this fact, you must complete your assigned tasks to the best of your ability as my small business operation is only as strong as its weakest link.

We do prep Monday-Thursday (with an option to add more shifts based on demand) for 5-hour shifts from late morning to afternoon or early afternoon until early evening.

There's also an in-house cafe in our commissary and lots of other local small businesses. Ground zero for what's happening in the food scene in this city.

My starting rate would be $17/hour. I am committed and ready to increase rates and your responsibilities based on your performance, professionalism, and attitude.

A Food Safe 1 certificate would be an asset.
