For Vol. 5 of FEAST & FRIENDS, we’re excited to welcome Chef Takeshi of alongside of (also , formerly ) for a night inspired by friendship, collaboration, and the connections built through the hospitality industry.
We first met Takeshi during his Kobachi days many years ago, and have always admired his thoughtful and ingredient-driven approach to Japanese food. Satoshi’s path crossed with ours when we first sipped on his dealer’s choice cocktails at Wildebeest and immediately knew his talents went far beyond the glass. Over the years, we’ve stayed connected, supported one another, and watched each other grow through Vancouver’s tight-knit food and bar community.
This dinner feels less like a formal collaboration and more like old friends finally getting the chance to cook, create, and share ideas together. Expect a menu that moves naturally between Vietnamese and Japanese influences, paired with playful cocktails and a relaxed, communal energy that reflects what FEAST & FRIENDS has always been about.
