From school days to careers, families, and new chapters! ❤️

It was so wonderful having Tom and his friends back at Gojo Café tonight — this time for a very special celebration. 🇨🇦🎉

Congratulations to Tom on becoming a Canadian citizen! 🇨🇦👏 It was extra special to celebrate together with his mom, sister, and longtime friends.

I’ve known many of this group since they were students, and now seeing them graduated, working, building careers and relationships, and coming back together around our table is something truly special.

Thank you all for coming out and celebrating at Gojo! ❤️🇪🇹🇨🇦

Congratulations, brother! 🎉 Wishing you and your beautiful wife a lifetime of happiness, love, and blessings. ❤️

Now the question is… who’s next? 😄

For nearly 20 years, we reported that the tree roots in front of our café on Commercial Drive created a dangerous sidewalk — especially for seniors and people with disabilities trying to pass safely.

Despite years of complaints from our community, nothing changed. Only after nearby developments were completed was the tree removed and the sidewalk repaired.

This is not about blaming anyone. It’s about asking why small businesses and local residents had to wait nearly two decades to be heard.

City of Vancouver — are you listening?

20 years of complaints.
One dangerous sidewalk.
Nothing changed until new developments arrived.

Commercial Drive deserves better.
