Introducing our newest tea: Duyun Maojian “Spring Tip.”

This tea comes from indigenous heirloom tea trees up to a century old, growing in high mountain gorges in remote Guizhou Province - one of the few remaining places in the region where these ancient trees still survive.

The dark, fine spindles smell sweet and caramelized in the warm gaiwan. It tastes nutritive, with persistent mineral notes, accumulating weight in the mouthfeel as infusions progress, then finishing with a soft, lingering licorice taste.

It feels like a pu’erh without its ferment, and a green tea without its youthful reverberation. An unusually grounding green tea, and one we are very excited to share for the first time.
