๐ Well, how cute is this.
A year ago, we opened the doors to Chez Cรฉline, tucked into the corner of Fraser and 27th, not fully knowing what the story would become. Since then, itโs been written slowly and generously โ over dinners that linger, brunches that stretch into the afternoon, glasses raised, candles lit, and countless small, beautiful moments (the bday song requests!) shared between us all.
In many ways, this first year feels like a prologue โ an opening chapter filled with warmth, curiosity, and just enough mischief to hint at whatโs ahead. Because if thereโs a secret we hope to keep, itโs this: to grow without ever quite growing up. To stay playful, keep wondering and set the table as though something magical might happen at any moment.
Captured here, Margaux and David mid-wish, over our indulgent birthday cake โ six layers of chocolate cake and crรจmeux, finished with rainbow sprinkles and served with crรจme anglaise. It makes its debut on the menu starting today, and will be here through May 31st... ๐
