With a luxurious and contemporary design inspired by the romance of travel in the 1930’s, Notch8 Restaurant & Bar brings a new era of glamour to the lobby of Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Named after a train’s top speed, achieved only by the most skilled conductors, the restaurant pays homage to the hotel’s storied history and legacy as a luxury hotel along the Canadian Pacific railway. Notch8 features West Coast cuisine, with many dishes representing the westward journey across Canada. Behind the bar, vibrant cocktails made popular during pre and post prohibition times are being shaken up with local bitters. The new Fall Express Lunch has landed at Notch8.

Enjoy a three-course set menu featuring a seasonal Green Salad to start, your choice of Ricotta Gnudi, Confit Duck Cassoulet or Cavatelli Vongole to follow, and The 3 O’Clock: house-made cookies to take with you.

Available Monday–Friday from 11:30am–2pm for $38 per person, exclusive of taxes and gratuity.

Because lunch deserves to be something you look forward to.

A beloved tradition takes a haunting turn beneath the storied walls of the Castle in the City.

This fall, descend into the Haunted Cellar for an afternoon of handcrafted pastries, savoury bites and seasonal confections, surrounded by flickering candlelight, gothic details and a whisper of the supernatural.

Haunted Cellar Afternoon Tea is available September 25 through November 1, Thursdays through Sundays at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM, with additional service on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12.

$75 per adult | $40 per child (12 and under)

Thanksgiving is officially three weeks away 🍂🦃

Let us take care of the feast while you focus on what matters most. Our Turkey To-Go, crafted by Executive Chef Mike Reid, brings all the comforting flavours of Thanksgiving straight to your table — with none of the prep or cleanup.

Choose from servings for 4–5 or 8–10 guests, pick up on October 11, and simply reheat, serve and savour.
