It was the rhythm of long days.
The quiet prep hours before the rush.
The smell of fresh coffee blooming in the air.
Carrying a vibe into the rhythm of life.

It was busy weekends, full tables, different languages blending together, and strangers who slowly became regulars — then became friends.
It was laughter, long conversations, shared meals, and quiet corners where stories unfolded.

“If selling coffee doesn’t bring much profit, why still doing it?”

And honestly, that’s a fair question 🙌🏻🙌🏻

👉🏻👉🏻 But the truth is — we didn’t open Hẻm just to sell .

We opened it to share a piece of WHERE we come from, to tell a STORY that can’t be captured in numbers or spreadsheets.

In , coffee isn’t just a drink.
It’s part of the city’s heartbeat — found in every corner, at every hour, where people gather not just to sip, but to connect, to dream, and to find comfort in the middle of chaos.

Moving across oceans, carrying that memory with us, we knew that what we missed most wasn’t just the taste of coffee — it was the spirit that came with it.

So Hẻm isn’t simply a shop.
It’s a small corner where culture lives.
Where every cup serves as a bridge — connecting memories of home with new beginnings here.

Ai cũng muốn có ly cà phê rẻ hơn — điều đó hoàn toàn hợp lý.

Nhưng trong thời buổi mọi thứ đều leo thang (tiền thuê, sữa, trứng, căng thẳng, cảm xúc…), chỉ có lợi nhuận tụi mình là không tăng:

👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻 60 cent cho mỗi ly.

Một ly cà phê $6.50 của tụi mình được làm từ nguyên liệu tươi mới, chất lượng thật sự, và rất nhiều tình yêu.

Sau khi trả đủ mọi chi phí, tụi mình còn lại vừa đủ để tung đồng xu may rủi.

Tụi mình không bán cà phê để làm giàu — chỉ đang cố gắng sống sót ở cái thành phố to đẹp nhưng “đau ví” tên là Vancouver.

Cảm ơn bạn đã giúp tụi mình (và chiếc máy pha cà phê) tiếp tục tồn tại 🥰🥰

👉🏻👉🏻 This drink was highly recommended on Xiaohongshu (XHS), so I ordered a large with reg milk 🥛🍠
The ube tasted like a whipped cream topping? It was super rich and fragrant.
What surprised me was that I always thought Vietnamese coffee would be overly sweet, but this one had just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect for my taste!

Egg Coffee – Vietnamese Egg Coffee 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
👉🏻👉🏻 To be honest, I had never tried Vietnamese coffee before. When I saw “egg coffee,” I thought it meant cracking a raw egg into black coffee – like some kind of “extreme” combo hahaha!
But after asking around, I learned it’s actually a signature drink at this café.
I tried a small size as recommended by the staff — and was blown away!
It was richer and more aromatic than the ube latte. Not as sweet, but had a unique, lovely taste. Lots of people seem to love this, so I gave it a shot too.

Price: After tax, it was $14.7 CAD — pretty worth it!!

We’ve officially closed our Commercial Drive location.

This wasn’t an easy decision. We poured our heart into that space, but with high operational costs in this economy, it became impossible to sustain both locations while keeping the quality and care we believe in.

We’re truly sorry to those who supported us there — it meant a lot. Every visit, every cup, every kind word will always be remembered.

From now on, we’re focusing fully on 5026 Victoria Dr, where it all began. Thank you for your continued support. We’ll keep building something meaningful, right here with you.

Tụi mình đã chính thức đóng cửa chi nhánh ở Commercial Drive.

Đây thật sự là một quyết định rất khó khăn. Tụi mình đã đặt nhiều tâm huyết vào tiệm đó, nhưng trong tình hình kinh tế hiện tại, chi phí vận hành quá cao khiến tụi mình không thể duy trì hai nơi mà vẫn giữ được chất lượng như mong muốn.

Tụi mình xin lỗi những khách yêu thương chi nhánh này — mọi lời ủng hộ, mỗi ly cà phê ở đó đều rất quý với tụi mình.

Từ giờ, tụi mình sẽ dồn hết tâm huyết cho 5026 Victoria Dr – nơi Hẻm 377 bắt đầu. Mong tiếp tục được đồng hành cùng mọi người trên chặng đường này.
