Following a year of exciting change, including the recent enhancement of our guestrooms and suites, our dedicated team has remained at the heart of everything we do. This week, we are proud to celebrate the incredible Housekeeping Team at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa.

Housekeeping is truly at the heart of every great hotel. So much goes into creating an exceptional guest experience, yet some of the most important work happens quietly behind the scenes. From the smallest details to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, our Housekeeping Team works tirelessly each day to ensure every guest room and every corner of the hotel feels welcoming, cared for and beautifully prepared.

Their work may not always be seen, but it is felt by every guest who walks through our doors. We see their dedication, we value their contribution and we are incredibly grateful for the pride they bring to the Wedgewood each and every day.

To celebrate, we brought the team together for a special luncheon filled with plenty of laughter and appreciation. The afternoon included a wonderful vocal performance by our talented team member Mary Joy, a raffle with some fantastic prizes, and beautiful bouquets for the entire team.

A very special thank you to our incredible Housekeeping leader, Gloria. Her compassion, dedication and extraordinary attention to detail set the standard for her team and beautifully reflect the values of the Wedgewood.

To our entire Housekeeping Team, thank you for everything you do. The Wedgewood would simply not be the same without you.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Hadi Mattar, as Hotel Manager of the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa ⚜️

With more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Hadi has held leadership roles with some of the industry’s most respected hotel brands. His career has taken him from Lebanon and Dubai to Africa, Montreal, and across Canada, giving him a global perspective shaped by diverse cultures, markets, and destinations.

Throughout his career, Hadi has held leadership positions with renowned brands including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Shangri La Hotels & Resorts, developing extensive expertise across hotel operations, rooms, guest experience, and team leadership. He has led large operational teams while maintaining the exceptional service, attention to detail, and personalized experiences that define luxury hospitality.

For Hadi, hospitality is more than a profession- it is a vocation driven by a genuine passion for people. He is deeply committed to developing and inspiring teams, empowering them to create thoughtful, memorable experiences that surprise and delight while making every guest feel truly cared for.
