Is hiring a multi faceted position that includes barista duties, food prep and the operation of a POS system.

We’re a fast paced neighbourhood cafe, located in a heritage building in a bustling and ever growing part of town. We’ve never tried to be anything more than part of the community we serve and that is reflected in the relationship we have with our customers and our staff. We’re looking for someone who understands the importance of customer relations where the majority of customers are not only regulars but also neighbours.

You can balance a casual yet fast paced working environment with a strong work ethic - individually and as a team; being calm under pressure and handle high volume days. Multitasking, troubleshooting and organizational skills are assets.

Candidates with food safe will be prioritized. Experience with espresso machines highly preferable but will train. Must be available to work weekends with a willingness to open and close the cafe.

Friends and neighbours, there will be filming happening at the cafe September 2nd - 4th. We’ll be closing at 2 pm on Tuesday the 1st and opening back up on Saturday the 5th. Sorry for any inconvenience. We thank you for understanding and we will make it up to you.
