I always wanted to participate in this event but timing was never right. Last year I missed it just by a week! This year there was supposed to be a tea event today that I needed to go, so I thought I couldn’t do it. The tea event got rescheduled last minute, so I was like… maaaaaaaybe this is a sign for me to go???

From where I live in Tokyo to Takayama Chikurinen, one way is about 4.5 hours with 6 train/bus transfers. Many people got shocked during the event how far I travelled for this. I was very nervous all the way, but there’s always gonna be a first time right??? I’m much more confident now - anyone wanna come with me again next year cuz it did feel a little lonely 😅

I think it’s safe to say that this is our first matcha 🍵 x mango 🥭 soft serve combo as we normally do mango with hojicha! Matcha is made with first harvest, ceremonial quality matcha~ We also changed the recipe for mango softie so now the flavour comes through a lot more 🤭 It’s so creamy that you wouldn’t tell it’s . We also have gluten friendly waffle cones 😋
