Sprouts is a 100% volunteer and student-run nonprofit organization at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Through our many initiatives, we endeavour to make healthy, affordable, and sustainably produced food accessible to everyone on campus. Sprouts offers nutritious and delicious meals at our two cafes, Sprouts and Seedlings. We also offer Community Eats, a by-donation lunch made from salva

Note - Sprouts will be closed in first semester due to renovations, and will reopen in the Life Building (the old SUB building) in January 2018. Conversations surrounding food security decisions need insight from students actually doing the work.

Extending FSI funding for just one year is not a sustainable solution. Organizations directly addressing food insecurity deserve to have their voices heard, and the UBC community need meaningful change instead of temporary funding. Reinstating student groups on the FSI committee will allow us to advocate for more long-term, stable solutions.

Student voices deserve to be heard!

Esteemed Sprouts community, we hereby summon ye to SAGM!🌱⚔️

Our Semi-Annual General Meeting (SAGM) is happening this week! And in case you can’t tell by now, our theme this year is Medieval Revival!🏰✨🗡️🛡️

Come join us for a night full of whimsy and fun! During this SAGM, you can expect a delicious (and free) Medieval-inspired dinner, giveaways, board updates and the treasurer election! 🍽️🗳️✨
