On Yogurt, a fresh store in Downtown Vancouver (95 Smithe St) offering Handmade Organic Yogurt with more than 40 toppings. Come and have a full spoon of our Canada’s first "ICE FRIED" Yogurt & Yogurt Gelato! All our yogurt selection is organic and gluten-free, sourced from a local organic farm in BC. It's called Ice Fried, but actually there is no oil or heat involved, j

ust flash frozen. The ice fried machine will reach -35oC in seconds, and turn liquids into a solid state instantly, which will create our unprecedented dessert. We freshly make every order in front of you, so you can watch this cool and fun process. The iced fried yogurt or yogurt gelato you have has the pure freshness. Because we do it by hand, you can taste the icy and crispy outer layer and the inside will still be soft and creamy. It's so good and different! The ICE FRIED YOGURT will bring you a different taste of yogurt you've never had before. The ice fried process completely change the texture of the yogurt, which makes the yogurt really creamy and condense. When you bite it, you can taste the icy crispy flakes of yogurt. It's a marvelous taste experience. It's also healthier than the regular frozen yogurt. The ICE FRIED YOGURT GELATO, we add half yogurt and half cream which will make it less sweet than the original gelato, but the taste is even better. The best ice cream is when it just done, not storing in freezer. That's why our ice fired yogurt gelato has the best taste. It's freshly made for each one. It has half the sugar of normal gelato and ice cream, making it a healthier alternative for those who still crave a little sugary snack. More than 40 toppings you can choose from! 🌟 Dear Beloved Customers and Friends,

With heavy hearts, we announce that this Sunday, June 23rd will mark the final day of our journey at ON YOGURT. Due to personal reasons and a reevaluation of our career path, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors after an unforgettable run since 2015.

Opening a cozy yogurt shop was our dream fresh out of campus, and we poured our hearts and hopes into every scoop and swirl. From long lines eagerly awaiting desserts to quiet hours spent reflecting, each moment has been cherished. We’re proud to have introduced Vancouver to rolled frozen yogurt and ice cream, and crafted countless new treats like our flash frozen ice cream, huge taiyaki, and signature bubble waffle series. Whether you joined us for our bubble tea or discovered us through word of mouth, your support has been invaluable.

Your kind words and loyalty, reflected in over 400 Google reviews averaging 4.6 stars, have meant the world to us. We‘ve not only served customers but gained friends along the way. We will deeply miss each of you.

This decision feels like parting with a piece of ourselves, yet we embrace the opportunity for new beginnings as we approach a new decade in life. We were just engaged when we started the business, and we have a family of four now. Change is never easy, but it opens doors to new adventures.

Yes, we are selling our store.😢
🌟 Since 2015, we’ve poured our hearts into creating a thriving business from the ground up. But as life takes unexpected turns, we’ve made the tough decision to sell. 💔
However, it seems impossible to fulfill this straightforward process with the obstacles set by our building management company, WPM. Their handling of the process has been nothing short of frustrating and disheartening.

We have been in business for 9 years, enjoyed or struggled, we really appreciate every customer who supported us for such a long time. While life has changed a lot recent years. We lost two family members during the pandemic, and two babies joined us. Some of you may notice we closed occasionally during our regular hours since last year, because we had more family issues to deal with. The life change has pushed us to make the decision to seek for a different work mode instead of working fixed and long hours in the store.

We started the selling session end of last year, and have accepted different offers time by time. Each time the landlord and management company came out with a rejection decision.
WPM took over 5 weeks doing the credit check, and charged over $2000 for it each single offer, unrefundable. During this time, attempts to reach them by phone or email were futile. They picked up phones once in ten times, and reply email days after. The property manager who was in charge of the whole process treated us arrogantly even rude. The rejection of offers based on arbitrary reasons, coupled with their refusal to provide formal documentation or communication from the landlord, raises serious questions about their motives and intentions.

In a time when supporting local businesses is more important than ever, small businesses like ours are the lifeblood of our communities, yet we’re the ones facing insurmountable obstacles set by the giant corporations.

Now we are left here frustrated and helpless, without knowing what else we can do.
