How grateful we are for them: those who are still with us, those who have since gone on to do beautiful things of their own, and those who we will carry with us always. Greg, Dale, and Ronnie — we miss you dearly.

Let us celebrate for we have reached ten sublime years at the House of Plenty. Believe it, we simply cannot. What a joyful surprise, how it has evolved to become the special place that it is for both our staff and guests. Forever grateful we will be to our work family and to every guest who has climbed those stairs, who have returned, who brought the people they love most into its rooms — you made Kissa Tanto what it is.

Welcome back to the house of plenty…
We look forward to our first regular service since Sunday tonight! As it happens, since we last saw you at KT, Tannis, Alain and Joël were officially inducted as Active Restaurateurs in the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame!

“I want to thank my mom who is a business person in her own right and brought me up in such a way that I never considered being a woman of colour could be a liability. She taught me to lead my team with empathy as well as gave me a love of food which I think is the primary building block for a successful restaurateur.
And also Joël and Alain, after a wild 16 years, we’ve been through a lot and the fact that we still like each other a lot is a testament to the strength of our partnership. I wouldn’t be here without them so cheers to them and to us for being our weird wonderful selves and for being able to accomplish these amazing things together.”
