How it all began: Theresa Frazao and her niece Heather Duncan, held a show in May 2015 at the Wallflower Cafe and while the event was successful with a great turnout, art sales and some funds raised for charity, Theresa wanted to do s
omething different - to organize shows with many more artists. She organized a show at Tabula Rasa Studio the following November with 10 friends. That show was such an amazing and fun experience, again with funds raised going to charity, everyone wanted to do it again. With a growing list of members, the group is organizing 1 - 3 events per year with new artists at each show. MMAA's goal is to provide opportunities for local artists to show their work while giving back to community to support charitable causes. MMAA events are always a fun, creative party where everyone is welcome. Each show is in a new location and new artists are always invited to participate.
