We are truly touched by the overwhelming love, support and the many reservations we’ve received since announcing our final weeks. It means the world to see so many of you wanting to share one more meal with us.

With the dining room busier than usual, we kindly ask for your patience as our staff and kitchen team work hard to accommodate everyone. We want these last weeks to be special for all of you, your kindness and understanding helps make that possible.

After more than 50 wonderful years serving the Vancouver community, Flamingo Chinese Restaurant will close its doors for the last time on September 28th.

To our loyal customers and the families who have shared countless meals, celebrations, and memories with us, thank you. Your support has meant the world.

On this day we remember our roots. We pay tribute and homage to a beautiful human who sparkled and trail-blazed three generations of children that continue her legacy to this day. She was the matriarch of our family and is the pioneer of the Vancouver dim sum scene. Rest easy Mah Mah ❤️

Flamingo will be closing the restaurant for the greater good of our Patrons and our society to try to stop the spread of the Covid-19. We have to take the precautions to ensure the safety of all our customers, staff and their families. We will re-open when it is safe to do so.
