The Stable House An intimate bistro and wine bar in the South Granville neighbourhood. A small cocktail list along with some delicious local beers for you to enjoy.

This cozy 36 seat room serves continually changing seasonal/local dishes, as well as artisonal cheeses, local and in-house made charcuterie, terrine's and rilettes. We offer a hand picked wine list that high lights the best of BC as well as hidden gems from the old world.

‘Supernatural Austria’

We’re heading to Austria for a wine flight that’s a little wild, in the best way.

‘Supernatural Austria’ is all about vibrant, low-intervention wines that let the vineyard speak for itself. Fresh, savoury, spicy, and beautifully expressive, this trio is bright, energetic, and full of personality.

From a crisp, aromatic sparkling out of Burgenland to a textured Grüner Veltliner from Kamptal and a mineral-driven Blaufränkisch, this flight is a beautiful introduction to Austria’s fresh and vibrant side.

If you’re curious about natural wine, or already deeply into it, this is your excuse to dive in.

Introducing our new GM at Stable House Bistro, Carolyn.

With over a decade in hospitality and a background as a sommelier, Carolyn brings a deep love for great food, thoughtful wine, and the kind of energy that makes a room feel just right. She has a soft spot for beautifully curated wine lists and the stories behind each bottle, but what really drives her is building a dining room rooted in genuine hospitality, strong teamwork, and consistently great service.

Carolyn leads with both precision and warmth, believing the best restaurants are the ones where guests feel truly welcomed and the team feels proud of what they do.

When she’s not in the room, she’s rarely far from a glass of Nebbiolo, likely dreaming up her next adventure, Fiji, South Korea, and a long-overdue trip home to Hong Kong all high on the list.

Happy International Women’s Day to all of the amazing women out there!

A big shout-out to our very own powerhouse Sommelier and Wine Director, !

Christina is always on the hunt for interesting bottles and thoughtful wine and food pairings.

Working harvest in France first sparked her love for wine, eventually leading her down the path to becoming a CMS Advanced Sommelier and completing the WSET Diploma.

As Wine Director, she curates the wine list, builds the wine flights, trains the team, and writes the slightly nerdy tasting notes you’ll find on the menu.
