Laziza restaurant on Davie St closed and a new Laziza named Bellagio Laziza Restaurant opened its doors by the Convention Center, downtown Vancouver. Enjoy modern and exotic Mediterranean food in a friendly and electric atmosphere. The Bellagio Laziza menu includes Italian, Lebanese and Moroccan dishes. We also have many gluten-free options just as we did in the old location.

A little update... We are still looking for a new location. A good location is very important for the success of a restaurant, so we need to do our due diligence. For those who would enjoy live Middle Eastern music and belly dancers, I was told by the owner of Bellaggio Cafe on Canada Place Way that they have live shows on Friday and Saturday from 9:30pm to 2am.

UPDATE... We've just learned that the transfer from Bellaggio to Bellaggio laziza has been put on hold. They did open the new laziza on May 29, but the transition was much too difficult on the staff since it's their busy season right now.

They have decided to do it more gradually and do the full transition later in the year, during the low season.

LAZIZA MENU ITEMS: While they remain as Bellaggio, they did keep some Laziza items such as, tagines, humus, and other items. We will be posting a more detailed menu a little later.

GREAT NEWS! The new laziza is opening tomorrow! I know, it's very short notice. The old restaurant was Bellaggio Cafe at the convention center. The new name will change to Bellaggio Laziza. The restaurant is closed today to prepare for it's opening tomorrow.

The new menu includes much of the same menu items that you have grown to love at our old location and they have added more Mediterranean dishes.

The same chef will be preparing your favorit plates, but now you get to enjoy a big outdoor patio and a much better view with the ocean and cruise ships.

NOTE: The old laziza was only open for dinner. The new Bellaggio Laziza restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will be posting the new menu at laziza.ca later today.

LAZIZA IS MOVING NOW - Laziza Restaurant is moving to a new location (secret location). The new downtown location is bigger and features a large patio - with water view!!

The Davie location has just been sold to new owners who will open a sushi restaurant. We hope they'll be welcomed in the neighborhood as we were.

Some logistics still need to be taken care of for the new location before we can disclose where it is, but we can tell you that it's downtown and by the water. Can anyone guess where it is?
