We're honoured to be serving you for the past 21 years with breakfast, lunch, and take home dinners and picnic boxes. Azy & Jeff have made Bambo Cafe a Gastown favourite for the past 21 years. Fair Trade coffee made to your liking, the toasted focaccia sandwiches and Azy’s homemade soups are amongst the reasons why Bambo Cafe has remained a breakfast, lunch, afternoon hot spot. You can also find homemade vegan and gluten free meals and snacks on the menu.

It’s bitter sweet to say that after 23 years of building memories of laughter, joy, and tears with the Gastown community who have now become life long friends, we will be moving on from Bambo Café. It has been truly an honour serving this amazing community and the tourists who came back annually to Vancouver and made sure to visit us (before covid hit). Thank you for supporting us all of these years!!

We will miss our daily chats and regularly seeing the local businesses who have become like family.

Our journey isn’t over, stay connected with Azy via .maman to see what she gets up to next! In the meantime, come say bye in person until March 29th.

Have you heard our coffee’s love story? Our Espresso is from the award winning . Agro is not only local, it’s also sustainable, organic and incredibly tasty with various delicate notes.

However, the impeccable taste and awards isn’t the only reason why we carry Agro coffee.

Long before the owner of Agro, Dusty, started roasting coffee, he was one of our super lovely customers. He ate our coffee shop daily while working in the neighborhood. He also happened to fall in love with one of our baristas, Marina!!

Fast forward many, many years, Marina stopped working at our shop, Dusty stopped working in Gastown, but they got married and have a beautiful little son now. We clearly had to switch to their coffee!!

Come by for the Equinox any day at our cafe or check out on Powell street.
