It's a vibe when plays at Delara! Somehow the space is ideal for her gentle music. So, after having her perform twice, we decided to make it a regular thing and she'll be here singing her songs every other Thursday (next time she'll be at Delara on July 14, around 6pm).

On that note 🎶, I was gonna ask if you know any local Persian singers/bands that could come and perform acoustic sets at the Delara, the other Thursdays that she's not here. I think it would be so nice to have Thursdays as our live music dinners, don't you agree?

11 years ago when I made that face for the camera with my culinary diploma from école Ferrandi in Paris, I had the dream of one day opening my own restaurant. Happy Monday guys! We are closed today and will be back open tomorrow at noon. I also wanted to take the chance and let you know that we are closed for a private event this coming Friday, so if you want some roasted cauliflower, koofteh (meatballs filled with walnuts, herbs and plums) and our bread and dips, come by any other day and we'll be happy to see you!

Last week was so special. I got to meet Naz, the lovely and talented writer of "bottom of the pot". She's great! And she's also doing such an amazing job showcasing Persian cuisine through her cooking and writing. She's been an inspiration to me and I was so honoured to see her in my restaurant.

Happy Monday guys! Thank you all for coming this past long weekend and posting lots of nice pictures and stories 💙

I wanted to let you all know that starting next week (April 26th), we'll be open on Tuesdays as well. I'm looking forward to having a bright and fun spring and summer this year with you all.

So yeah, come hang out with us and eat lots of bread and dip!
