💙 A LITTLE GLUTEN-FREE REMINDER! 💙

Every once in a while, I like to remind everyone just how seriously we take offering gluten-free options here at White Sails Bakery & Deli. 🥪🍔

We’ve worked really hard to make our little bakery & deli as inclusive as possible so that having dietary restrictions doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the good stuff!

✨ We have dedicated gluten-free fryers
✨ Gluten-free gravy
✨ A dedicated toaster oven for toasting gluten-free bread & buns
✨ Gluten-free bread & burger buns
✨ And all of our sandwiches and burgers can be made to accommodate gluten-free!

And YES… 👀 your eyes are NOT deceiving you.

Pictured here is our famous Clubhouse Sandwich on GLUTEN-FREE white bread — AND THE BREAD IS TOASTED! 🙌🏼

Because we know how often those eating gluten-free are handed cold, untoasted bread when they order a sandwich. Not here! 😂👏🏼

Our clubhouse is piled high and finished with our house-made sweet chilli mayo, and you can enjoy it on beautifully toasted gluten-free bread. 🤤

We know how difficult it can be to find somewhere that offers more than just one gluten-free option. We want you to be able to look at our menu and actually have choices. ❤️

As always, while we take extensive precautions and use dedicated equipment for many of our gluten-free items, our kitchen is not a dedicated gluten-free facility, so we can never guarantee zero risk of cross-contact. Please let our staff know about any allergies or celiac requirements when ordering so we can take every precaution possible.

📧 IMPORTANT EMAIL UPDATE

After about a month and a half of ongoing issues with our email, we have unfortunately determined that our account had been compromised. We’ve since learned that several other people we know have experienced similar issues recently as well.

We have taken every necessary precaution to secure our account and help ensure this does not happen again. Thankfully, our email did not contain any sensitive or important customer information, and we have no reason to believe any customer information was affected.

That being said, if you sent us an email anytime after August 5th through until recently and did not receive a response, please know that it was absolutely not intentional. Some emails were unfortunately missed or inaccessible during this time, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused.

As a small family-run business, responding to our customers is extremely important to us, and we would never intentionally leave anyone without a response. We truly appreciate everyone’s kindness, patience, and understanding while we worked to figure out what was happening. ❤️

📣 WE’RE HIRING — PART TIME! 📣

White Sails Bakery & Deli is looking to add another person to our little team! 🤍⛵️

This position would be perfect for a high school student looking to gain some work experience, make a little extra money, and be part of a busy, fun, family-run environment. This is a PART-TIME position only, with approximately 5–15 hours per week. Some weeks may be a little more and some may be less depending on how busy we are and what coverage is needed.

There is also the potential to stay with us into the spring and summer, when more hours may become available as our busy season picks back up! At White Sails, we’re a small, family-owned bakery and deli where almost everything we offer is made right here in-house. We can get VERY busy, especially in the warmer months, so we’re looking for someone who is:

✨ Friendly and comfortable with customers
✨ Reliable and shows up when they’re scheduled ( own transportation required )
✨ Willing to learn and take direction
✨ Able to work well as part of a team
✨ Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
✨ Willing to jump in wherever they’re needed
✨ Positive, hardworking and not afraid to stay busy!


Experience is not necessary — we’re happy to train the right person! What matters most to us is attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. 🤍 Duties can include customer service, cash, stocking, cleaning, helping with food and bakery prep, packaging products and learning the different areas of the store as you become comfortable.
