12 years ago, Connie & I embarked on this journey to bring something unique & special to The City of Quinte West. A combination of the East Coast & Asian hospitality with great food, friendly service, clean atmosphere, lots of laughter & a hug from Connie.

It is hard to describe the experience & the memories that we all share as a community through out this journey, nevertheless, it is an experience that we will cherish for a lifetime. THANK YOU again, for making THE RIVERBRAKE CAFE for what it is and what it was, it has been an honor & a privilege to be part of such a wonderful community.

So until we meet again, be good to others, don't sweat the small stuff & always be kind. There isn't enough money to buy the health & well being of the ones we love, but we can always buy the time that we spent with them. ❤🙏

2022 is by far one of the most challenging time for our family. Sometimes we have to make some tough decisions, and in the end, you just have to follow your heart and what your mind tells you. Never take anything for granted and be thankful each day and stay positive. THANK YOU! ❤🙏

It's been a minute, and we're about to make a comeback we missed you all so much. We have been in this business for 12 yrs and we are so humbled with your continued support. During the last 2 months of our most difficult time, so many of you in our community have reached out and supported us and words are not enough to tell you how grateful we are. Our time is not guaranteed, sometimes the journey must come to an end, so stay humble and be kind, every moment matters. THANK YOU ALL and we cannot wait to see you again! ❤🙏

Hello everyone,

We just want to give you an update and I am not sure where to even begin. This Thanksgiving we are blessed and have so much to be thankful for. After 7 exhausting weeks in the hospital, Connie have been released and is now home where she will continue her recovery.

Words cannot describe how thankful we are to all of you who rallied behind Connie with all your prayers, messages, encouragement, love & support. A big thank you to Lorraine O'Quinn for putting together a fundraiser, to Mark G. Phillips for donating fireworks, to Angela Coltman Wildish of Vivacious for donating a gift certificate and to everyone who have purchased the raffle tickets and donated, this was unexpected, and we cannot express how humble & touched we are with your generosity. We also want to thank all of the doctors, Nurses, PSW, Dietician & the food service department in both our Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation Quinte Health Care & Belleville General Hospital for your patients and not giving up on Connie and saving her life and last but not the least, thank you to Connie's sisters Sharon Lannin & Judy Walsh for being there and all that you have done, I would have been lost without you.

Please know that we appreciate you all so much and all your support is what motivates and encourage us to continue to do our part to help our community and to give back as much as we can. Now that Connie is home, we are excited to let you know that we will re-open starting on Tuesday October 25th. Thank you again for all your help & support we missed you and we cannot wait to see you all!

It's been a little over 3 weeks since you've been in the hospital, we've almost lost you not once but twice. This is the best I've seen you, God is on our side and all the prayers, the love & support you have from so many people is truly a blessing. We have a long way to go but I promise you I will be here every step of the way and don't intend to go anywhere. I will be your strength as you are mine, even if I have to work out on the hospital floor I will do everything I can to help you. So keep fighting, stay strong and stay focus let your mind be free and the healing will manifest itself. You've got this Connie. We love you ❤🙏 volume up

As the temperature continues to soar, I'm sure everyone can cool off with our delicious ice Cafe mocha and just chill on our patio over looking the Trent-Severn Waterway or simply grab a chair at The Riverfront Square provided by our . 😎💛💯
